Recap: November Program

Feeling Frazzled and Disorganized?

Look no further than November’s speaker, Loretta Prime of Clearly Organized!  Those who attended her talk at the ISES/NE monthly meeting on November 15th no longer have to include “disorganized” in their vocabulary— unless they’re talking about someone else!  Audience members participated in the presentation by beginning with a soul-searching admittance of just what items on their “to do” list keeps them awake at night.  From there, Loretta offered a  helpful way to categorize items on our often-overwhelming task list and a step-by-step approach to crossing them off the list swiftly and effectively.

But First things First, Right? The audience was happy and all ears after being treated to a lavish spread of nouveau cuisine from Nubar at the Sheraton Commander Hotel in Cambridge.  Newly renovated and infused with a modern edge that blended seamlessly with the classic surroundings that once hosted President Kennedy, the dining space provided the perfect backdrop for a complimentary cocktail tasting by Palm Bay International.  Who wouldn’t be in a great mood after all of that?

After Loretta took questions from the audience, guests were treated to yet more delicacies at the gourmet dessert table – and if sweets weren’t your thing – the spirit table boasting champagne, beer and wine tasting were sure to please.

Amanda Utz was the lucky recipient of this month’s Kiva challenge and was given a $25 certificate to donate to an struggling entrepreneur around the world. Thank you Amanda!

The evening wrapped with several great raffle prizes to benefit our Merit Scholarship Fund.  And we can’t forget to thank Peter O’Malley for his constant and enthusiastic role as Chief Raffle Ticket Seller.

As always, our greatest thanks go to our generous sponsors who make these events possible:

See you this month at our annual holiday party and auction to benefit our Merit Scholarship Fund.  Come for a night of fun and remember you could be the lucky member who receives an all expense paid trip to Event World in Dallas this year!  For more information on registration, click here.  All tickets are only $25!
