Job Information

Brief Description:

  • Minimum  3 yrs. experience driving a 24 ft box truck
  • Ability and willingness to load, unload, set up and break down rental equipment
  • Must be able to speak, write and read English. Bilingual is a plus
  • Excellent attention to detail is required to manage daily paperwork
  • Interact with customers and be dedicated to making customers happy.  That is our #1 goal!
  • ALL applicants must bring the following:  a valid drivers’
  • license and driving record from the RMV or your insurance company. We will not accept an application without these.
  • Qualified drivers will be paid to participate in a three-week training program
  • Hours range between shifts including weekends, starting at 6am and possible late nights.
  • Able to pick and carry up to 50 pounds, up and down stairs

Duties include:

  • Deliver rental items by preparing, loading, unloading, setting up and breaking down.
  • Operating and cleaning a truck, maintaining records.
  • Prepare truck for operation by inspecting general condition; checking fluid levels and tire pressure
  • Loads truck by placing and securing items
  • Delivers items by identifying destinations, operating the truck and maintaining schedule.
  • Serves customers by understanding, resolving or communicating complaints
  • Maintains safe operating and clean appearance of truck by complying with operational policies, procedures, all state and local driving regulations and truck performance forms.
  • Personal appearance must be neat and clean. Required to wear Rentals Unlimited shirt, which is provided.

Skills / qualifications:

  • Travel logistics, operate a GPS, good verbal communication, dependability, strong customer focus, good skill with detail. Must be able to lift and load items. Required to read, speak and write English.

Big Night Entertainment Group seeks a qualified Private Dining Sales Associate for it’s restaurant and nightclub operations in Boston.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Meets with potential clients for site visits
  • Negotiates room rates and related fees
  • Develops customized menus
  • Writes proposals and contracts
  • Ensures accuracy of BEOs
  • Reviews BEO’s and event needs with management on a weekly basis
  • Attends networking and industry events
  • Continually networks with corporate leads, chamber members, convention groups and college contacts
  • Develops sales programs and promotional ideas

Required Essential Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

  • 3 years or more of progressive sales experience
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with people of diverse socioeconomic, cultural, disability and ethnic backgrounds
  • Must possess the following strengths: results driven, high energy, entrepreneurial spirit, motivational leader, proven track record in high volume concept, effective in providing exceptional customer service and ability to improve the bottom line
  • Outstanding positive attitude
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Caterease

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Directly supervises 1 Sales Assistant. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training, planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience:

College or university program certificate preferred or six to eight years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
